DRINK IT: Samey’s Summer Surprise

Iced coffee is one of our favorite summer drinks at Eurasia Cafe. It is a delicious way to beat the heat, enjoy life-changing coffee, and get your caffeine fix all in one!

In today’s post, Samey, the amazing Cafe Manager at the NLRC Eurasia Cafe has shared a specialty iced coffee recipe, which she calls “Samey’s Summer Surprise” especially for you…

Step 1
Choose between your favorite: Iced Coffee or Iced Americano.

  • For Iced Coffee we recommend brewing Signature Medium or Signature Bold at double strength (use twice as much coffee as you usually do). Allow coffee to cool before serving over ice (cooling takes 3-4 hours at room temperature, or 1-2 hours if refrigerated).
  • For an Iced Americano pull 2 shots for a 12 oz. drink using our Espresso Reserve, add water and serve iced.

Step 2
Add in some Half-n-Half! If you prefer your coffee strong, use a small amount, but for those who like to disguise the taste of their coffee, go ahead and be generous.

Step 3
Add 2 pumps of White Chocolate Sauce, and 1 pump of Coconut Syrup for a 12 oz. drink. These flavors create the perfectly summery and sweet treat you deserve.

Step 4
Add the whipped cream of your choice! Here’s our very own whipped cream recipe…

Whipped Cream
(For a half liter can)
Add 2 cups heavy whipping cream
Add 1.5 oz of vanilla syrup
Shake in a cream whipper with a cream charger for about a minute.

Step 5
Top the drink off with a carmel drizzle for a complete look.

Step 6
Enjoy making your coffee count
, one delicious sip at a time!

Samey will be serving her very own “Samey’s Summer Special” at the NLRC Cafe. So, for all our friends in the Springfield, Missouri area be sure to swing by and treat yourself! Cafe hours are Monday-Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm.
